The latest release of Mobiledock allows destinations to define notifications based upon business rules, and have these sent out through our integration with Twilio.

Destinations can define rules such as “When a vehicle over stays, then send security a message”. Or “When a booking status is set to ‘go to dock’, then send the driver a message”. The purpose of these notifications is to proactively send out notifications which help reduce the effort to manage a destination, and smooths the operational process.

Twilio is a global leader in communications channels like voice, text, chat, video, and email by virtualizing the world’s communications infrastructure through APIs that are simple enough for any developer to use, yet robust enough to power the world’s most demanding applications.
